The conversion of this redundant former office building into 56 apartments for private rent. FSL carried out all initial design work then delivered under a Design and Build contract.
The conversion of this two-storey office building sitting in 2.4 acres in Basingstoke was undertaken in a 36-week period as a full turn-key design and build project under PD. The building was taken from a fully functioning office block back to shell and core then transformed to our design into 56 generous apartments. Externally the building benefited from a new roof finish, double glazed windows, refinished external cladding, landscaping, external bin and cycle stores.
Internally we created a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments complete with fitted kitchens and integrated appliances, bathrooms and en-suites. Each apartment was completed with veneered doors, energy efficient lighting and electrical appliances along with all floor finishes to every room. Every apartment was been completed to an excellent standard with the development being covered by a Premier 10-year structural guarantee.
Every unit was handed over on time and snag free.
